A month and no blogging??!!!

I'm back on it. I'm starting the "witchcraft diet" tomorrow, as Andy calls it.  It's really the HCG diet, which Andy supported until he found out you  had to pig out for 2 days at the start of the diet.  He thinks a true diet shouldn't involve pigging out on junk food for 2 days.  He may be right, but I'm willing to give it a try.  1-2 lbs per day is what they say.  You eat 500 calories per day and take HCG drops under your tongue for 6 weeks, and then go off of the diet for 2 weeks to a normal eating pattern.  Supposedly it resets your metabolism and you burn your fat stores with the HCG.  We'll see how it goes.  I thought I should start blogging again so I can document my results with the diet, AND get back on the treadmill.  I do it every now and then, just not consistently like I did before.

I bought my second item for the 3 day walk- a "lumbar pack" (sounds so much better than a fanny pack- hate that word).   It's not the same color as the picture here, it's a navy blue and black, which is ok. It has so many fun compartments and it's nice and big to carry all of the things I will need for the walk.  There are blogs that list what you should pack, like a rain poncho, chapstick, sunblock, bug spray, money, ID, blister supplies, a camera, kleenex etc.  There's also room for 2 water bottles on each side.  You fill one with Gatorade and the other with water.  I'm getting excited, now I just need to get in shape.  Today is the first day of spring, so hopefully I'll be outside walking more.
