First of all, little L is much better after a 3 day bout with the stomach flu. Poor baby was miserable. Andy and I both missed a day of work to care for her. I went on a 24 hour retreat with my friend Katie with her church and had a really nice time. I get messages on my Blackberry, and I kept getting notifications that I had new donations for the 3 day walk. I can't tell you how excited I was. It has overwhelmed me how generous and supportive everyone has been. This cause is so important to me, and affected us so deeply, that it just is so heart warming when I find out that someone else has donated. So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Andy gets this teary eyed grin on his face when I tell him about another donation. Someone elses mom out there might be saved because of YOU.
I got home late last night, and today has been busy spending 2 hours at Wal-Mart buying groceries for our impending ice/snow storm. Everyone and their cousin within a 50 mile radius was there too. The lines were 5-7 carts long and they had every line open. I didn't realize we already had enough milk, so I have 5 gallons if any one needs any :) I plan on hopping on the treadmill as soon as I fold my laundry, so I will get my long workout in today. Looking forward to the scale tomorrow too, will report the results!!
Saw the movie "Like Dandelion Dust" this weekend at the retreat. What a tear-jerker. It is especially hard to watch if you have ever considered adoption, but really was good.
I hope everyone has a good week.
